At Canada West Belting, we offer a Total Belt Service, when our installers come to your worksite to replace an existing belt or perform repairs. Total Belt Service involves stringing the belt wherever possible, slacking the take-up, removing and replacing idlers, splicing the belt as well as tensioning and tracking the belt when the install or repair is done. If we are unable to run the conveyor, a tag will be placed on the MCC panel stating that the belt has been tensioned but needs to be tracked. We feel that this method of installation will reduce the chance of miscommunication and possible damage to the belting.
Our professional service crews can respond quickly to any customer who may be experiencing downtime due to conveyor issues. Our service crews are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All of our service technicians are certified technicians trained in the newest, and most up-to-date procedures.
We guarantee our original splices for up to 12 months from the date of installation under normal operating conditions. Any damage to the belts or splice caused due to mechanical problems or abuse not related to the normal workings of the belt will not be covered under this warranty.
We are prepared to do a monthly (or as required) belt survey throughout your operation. This will entail an inspection of your conveyor belting and any other unforeseen problems involving the conveyor belt operation.
